Laura Jean Thompson: River of Doubt

This one was kinda one of those things that just happens and turns out right. I went to the studio to say hello to my friend and engineer Brian Leach, and Laura was having a session. I heard a few seconds of the track "Goin' To Hell" that Laura was preparing for this release, and I instantly had the picture in my head. Within about 30 minutes, Laura and I met, shared a quick story, wrote a part, recorded the track… and then Brian, Laura, and I probably had a drink :) This is the first track that I've ever recorded playing multi phonics (basically singing and playing two different notes at the same time).
